Launch of the Cheshire and Merseyside Microsoft 365 Optimisation Programme

Across Cheshire and Merseyside, an exciting digital programme has been launched which aims to enhance your use of Microsoft 365 to improve the way you work, collaborate, and deliver care.

The Cheshire and Merseyside Microsoft 365 Optimisation Programme is being delivered by NHS Informatics Merseyside and aims to support health and social care colleagues across the region to get the most benefit from the digital tools available within Microsoft 365.

As part of the programme, a new Microsoft 365 Knowledge Hub will be launched on 14 February 2023. This will be available for all Cheshire and Merseyside health and social care colleagues and will provide access to online training, tips and learning resources covering the latest versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), in addition to collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and other useful apps.

There will also be helpful case study examples of how Microsoft 365 is being used innovatively across the region, with guidance on how this learning can be used within your team, organisation or network.

To help raise awareness of the programme, share ideas and best practice, NHS Informatics Merseyside is looking for volunteers to become Microsoft 365 Digital Champions.

Become a Microsoft 365 Digital Champion

As a Microsoft 365 Digital Champion, you will be a key member of an exciting new regional network of health and social care colleagues with a shared interest in using digital technology to enhance the way you work and deliver care.

Would you like to find out more about the range of apps available within Microsoft 365 beyond Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Teams?
Do you have an idea or challenge that you would like to explore to see how Microsoft 365 could help support the way you work, collaborate, and deliver care?
Are you or your team already benefiting from the use of Microsoft 365 which could be shared as best practice with others across the region?
Would you like to help others within your team, organisation or network learn more about the benefits of Microsoft 365, including the range of apps and best practice available?

If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes’, please read more about becoming an official Microsoft 365 Digital Champion and join our growing community.

Once registered, you will be provided with access to our online community where you will be able to engage with other Digital Champions and access useful resources, including your Digital Champion Starter Pack. You will also be awarded your very own Digital Champion Badge!
